Felicity Jones is a British actress best known because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically popular movie The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at the age of aged 12. She has worked as actress in numerous TV shows, plays and films. Jones began her acting career by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. Then in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. Her first film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has been in a variety of films. Her acting career gained her fame for roles in movies like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. The most notable was the performance she gave in The Theory of Everything that made her the recipient of an Oscar for the first time. The biopic was based on the biography of the physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was adored by both audiences and critics due to her flawless portrayal of Hawking's former wife. Jones was later seen in Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. Jones won an award called the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. It was awarded for her amazing talent and contribution towards cinema.
